Our Vineyard

David Phillips has had a lifetime of loving wine:

Whilst owning one of the largest single holding vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, the Phillips family have largely left the commercial side of viticulture to Montalto - who take 90% of the grapes and market these wines as their ‘Revered’ vineyard.

  • Phillips Estate

    Established in 2000, and purchased in 2001, our vineyard has a total size of 45 acres with all processing done within 20km of growth. Our prime location is influenced by the maritime climate of Port Phillip Bay and the microclimate of Tuerong.

  • Family Owned

    Husband and wife, David and Fenella, are the owners and operators of our vineyard, with their dog Alfie, who often comes along for the journey. As a family business, our passion and hard work is shown through our selection of fine wines.

  • Premium Wine

    Our complex flavours are created by hand picking, bunch pressing and maturing our wines in French Oak for 2 years. They are exclusive and restricted by volume, with only 50 cases Shiraz and 25 cases Pinot Noir per vintage.
